Every MYK Art Studio piece is made to order in the UK from Mariia Mykhailova's original charcoal drawings. Nothing is held in stock — your piece is printed and finished individually once you order, which is why each carries small natural variations in tone and print position.

Standard sizes — cushions, lampshades and prints — can be returned within 14 days if they aren't right for your room. Made-to-measure pieces — wallpaper murals cut to your wall, or fabric cut to your length — cannot be returned once made, so please check your measurements carefully before ordering.

If anything arrives faulty, damaged or incorrect, we will always put it right. Email myk.visual@gmail.com and we will sort it.

Who you are buying from

When you order from mykartstudio.com, your contract is with MYK Art Studio, a business operated by Mariia Mykhailova, Cartref, Garden Road, Bromley BR1 3LU, United Kingdom.

Our pieces are handmade to order by our UK manufacturing partner and shipped directly to you. All returns and claims are handled by us. Please do not return anything to the address printed on your delivery packaging — it will not reach us and cannot be processed.

How our pieces are made

Nothing we sell is held in stock. Each piece is printed and finished individually once your order is placed. Slight variation in colour, tone, print position and finish is a natural characteristic of printing original charcoal artwork onto fabric and paper, and is not a fault. Colours may appear differently on screen than in the finished piece.

If exact colour matters to your project, order a sample before committing to a full order.

If you change your mind — standard sizes

This covers cushions, lampshades, prints, and any item bought in a size listed on our website.

You may cancel within 14 days of receiving your order, and return the item within 14 days of telling us. Email myk.visual@gmail.com to start a return and we will send you the return address and instructions.

• The item must be unused, undamaged and in its original packaging.
• You pay the return postage. Please use a tracked service — we cannot refund items lost in return transit.
• We refund the item price plus our standard outbound delivery charge, within 14 days of receiving the item back.
• A deduction may be made if the item shows signs of use beyond what is needed to inspect it.

If you change your mind — made-to-measure and personalised pieces

This covers wallpaper murals cut to your wall dimensions, fabric cut to your specified length, custom sizes, and anything personalised at your request.

These cannot be returned or refunded if you change your mind, order the wrong measurements, or decide the design is not right after delivery. They are cut and finished uniquely for you and cannot be resold or reused.

This is permitted under Regulation 28(1)(b) of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, which exempts goods made to a consumer's specification from the standard 14-day cancellation right.

Please measure twice. If you are unsure, email myk.visual@gmail.com before ordering — we would far rather help you get it right than see you left with something that does not fit.

Cancelling an order

Production begins almost immediately after your order is confirmed. If you need to cancel, email myk.visual@gmail.com within 30 minutes of receiving your order confirmation. If production has not started we will cancel and refund in full. After production begins, made-to-measure orders cannot be cancelled.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect pieces

We only send out work we are proud of, but everything is handmade and occasionally something falls short. When it does, we put it right — and this applies to every piece we sell, made-to-measure included.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If your piece arrives faulty, damaged in transit, or is not what you ordered, you may reject it within 30 days of delivery for a full refund, or ask for a replacement.

Please tell us as soon as you notice, ideally within 14 days, so we can resolve it quickly. Reporting later does not affect your statutory rights.

How to make a claim

1. Email myk.visual@gmail.com with your order number and a description of the problem.
2. Attach clear photographs of the piece showing the fault, and of the outer packaging if the parcel arrived damaged.
3. We will respond within 2 working days and confirm the remedy — a replacement or a refund.
4. If we need the piece returned, we will send you a return authorisation and the return address. Please do not send anything back before you receive this, as unauthorised returns cannot be processed.
5. Return the piece securely packaged, using a tracked and signed-for service.
6. Where the fault is confirmed, we refund your reasonable return postage on top of the refund or replacement.

Refunds

Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 14 calendar days of us receiving the returned piece, or within 14 days of approving your claim where no return is needed. Please allow a few extra working days for your bank or card issuer.

Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy affects your legal rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

Every piece is made to order, so please allow production time in addition to delivery.

• Production: 2–5 working days
• UK delivery: 1–3 working days after dispatch, tracked
• International delivery: as shown at checkout

You will receive tracking by email when your piece is dispatched.

If your tracking has not updated for 7 days, or your parcel has not arrived within 14 days of dispatch, email myk.visual@gmail.com and we will investigate with the courier.

Where we cannot deliver within 30 days of your order and have not agreed a longer timescale with you, you may cancel and receive a full refund.

Customers outside the UK are responsible for any import duties or taxes charged on arrival.

Our pieces

All pieces are made to order. Because each is printed individually onto natural fabrics and papers, slight variation in colour, tone, print position and finish is inherent to the process and is not a fault. Screen colours are indicative only. Measurements are nominal, with a tolerance of up to 2% on finished textiles.

Orders and acceptance

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we send you an order confirmation email. We may decline an order — for example where a made-to-measure request cannot be produced to the standard we require — in which case you will be refunded in full.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in GBP. MYK Art Studio is not currently VAT registered, so no VAT is charged. Delivery is shown separately at checkout. Payment is taken in full at the time of ordering.

Made-to-measure orders

Where you supply measurements, you are responsible for their accuracy. We produce to the dimensions you give us. We recommend ordering a sample and re-measuring before placing a made-to-measure order.

Intellectual property

All artwork, designs, images and text on this website are the original work of Mariia Mykhailova and remain her property, protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, copy, resell or commercially exploit any design. Buying a piece gives you ownership of that physical item only, not of the artwork applied to it.

Photographing your own interior featuring our work and sharing it is welcome and encouraged.

Returns

Returns, refunds and cancellations are governed by our Returns & Refunds Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with any part of our service, email myk.visual@gmail.com. We acknowledge complaints within 2 working days and aim to resolve them within 14 days.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
